Abstract
Open AccessComplete testicular-epididymal non-fusion (cTENF) is a rare and underestimated congenital anomaly, commonly associated with an undescended testis. Dissociated epididymis is always located distally to the testis and frequently into the scrotum, resembling a testicular nubbin. We report the case of an 18-month-old boy with left cryptorchidism and cTENF initially regarded as a testicular remnant due to testicular atrophy. We highlight the distinct anatomical features of this condition to overcome the diagnostic challenge and avoid pitfalls that may lead to significant consequences.
