Management of maxillary polyposis through siddha - A case report.

A 45-year-old male with a 7-years history of recurrent antrochoanal polyp (ACP) and severe left nasal epistaxis sought Siddha treatment after conventional therapies failed. He was treated for 14 months with Impooral ilagam, Vasantha kusumakara mathirai, Adathodai manappagu, Seenthil chooranam and Muthu parpam, including drug holidays. Nasal bleeding reduced from daily episodes to once every two months and eventually ceased, with no recurrence during follow-up. This case suggests Siddha medicine may offer a promising non-invasive alternative for managing chronic ACP, warranting further investigation in larger studies.
