Open AccessBackground: To gauge assuming the submucosal (SM) or intravenous (IV) delivery of one injection of dexamethasone is profitable in minimizing obstacles heeding impacted third molar resection. Materials and Methods: The inquiry's design entailed surveying 90 individuals. Group A (IV), Group B (SM), and Group C (control), each group entailing 30 folks, were all randomized. Groups A and B were delivered 4 milligrams of dexamethasone IV and SM mode correspondingly, while the untreated group (Group C) lacked any steroid. The paired t-test along with the Chi-square test was utilized. Results: When Groups A and B were contrasted Group B exhibited more beneficial for swelling and trismus with a P value of 0.0001, which is extremely significant.
