New contribution to the leafhopper genus Thapaia (Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, Typhlocybinae), with the description of a new species from China.

Thapaia malingensis Yuan & Song, sp. nov., a new species of Erythroneurini (Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, Typhlocybinae) from Maling River Canyon in Xingyi, China, is described and illustrated. A revised description of the genus is also provided, and a key to males of all species worldwide is given.
