Abstract
Open AccessImmune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy has demonstrated significant efficacy in the treatment of various cancers. However, a subset of patients develops hyper-progressive disease (HPD) following ICB, which is characterized by accelerated tumor growth and poor clinical outcomes. This review outlines the clinical features, potential mechanisms, and possible intervention strategies of HPD, with the aim of informing clinical practice and providing relevant recommendations. .
