Open AccessMirza Kazem Mahallati (Mirza Kazem Shimi) was one of the first graduates of Dar Al-fonun Academy who went on to become the founder of modern pharmacy and chemistry in Iran. This article looks at Mirza Kazem's biography and his efforts in foundation of modern pharmacy in Iran.
