Abstract
Open AccessWe present a genome assembly from a specimen of Carex rostrata (Bottle Sedge; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Poales; Cyperaceae). The genome sequence has a total length of 382.30 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 35 chromosomal pseudomolecules. Four mitochondrial genome scaffolds were assembled, and the one plastid genome, with a length of 220.95 kilobases.
