Abstract
Open AccessFusarium graminearum causes significant disease in crops. We report the whole-genome sequence of strain mFG23, obtained from maize kernels with ear rot in Yunnan Province, China. This genome is a valuable resource for studying the genetic basis of F. graminearum pathogenicity and host specificity in maize.
