Abstract
Open AccessWe report the whole genome sequence of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum 6Y-15 isolated from pickled chili pepper brine preserved for 6 years in Sichuan Province, southwest China. The genome is 3,385,335 bp in size, with 44.46% GC content, and it consists of one circular chromosome and seven circular plasmids.
