Abstract
Open AccessThis study performed mitochondrial genome sequencing on Minettia omei, which belongs to Lauxaniinae, a subfamily of Lauxaniidae. The complete mitochondrial genome spans 16,201 bp and comprises 37 genes, including 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, 2 rRNA genes, and a control region. Base composition: A 38.81%, T 38.81%, C 12.93%, G 9.44% , A + T bias 77.62%. COI uses start codon CAA; COI, COII, NAD2, NAD1, NAD4 have incomplete T + tRNA stop codons. Phylogenetic analysis elucidates the species' evolutionary relationships, establishing a critical genetic foundation for future studies on Lauxaniidae.
