Abstract
Open AccessInfection is a common cause of urticaria. Fungi as inhalant allergens can lead to recurrent episodes of urticaria. We present a case of a patient with recurrent wheals, erythema, and pruritus unresponsive to over 10 days of treatment with antihistamines and glucocorticoids. A comprehensive evaluation revealed pulmonary aspergillosis as the underlying cause, and following targeted treatment, the patient's urticaria was effectively controlled.
