Abstract
Open AccessA gastrohepatic fistula is an abnormal connection between the stomach and the liver. It can occur in the setting of colorectal liver metastases with direct invasion into an adjacent organ, causing upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Early recognition and a multidisciplinary approach remain crucial even in advanced cases when curative options are limited; palliative care remains appropriate to guide management.
