Abstract
Open AccessLaryngopharyngeal symptoms (LPS) are increasingly common yet challenging presentations to gastroenterologists' office due to heterogeneous causes, with reflux accounting for a minority of patients.1,2 Given the suboptimal efficacy of empiric acid suppression therapy, accurately identifying patients with reflux-related symptoms remains crucial for targeted management strategies. Previous studies showed limitations of existing tests, with no clear gold standard for diagnosing laryngopharyngeal reflux disease (LPRD).3-5.
