Abstract
Open AccessPedunculated uvular tumors, though rare, may cause airway symptoms when enlarged or elongated. This case highlights how diminished attention to basic oropharyngeal inspection in routine care can lead to missed diagnoses with potentially serious consequences. Reinforcing fundamental physical examination skills remains essential in emergency and general clinical practice.
