Abstract
Open AccessSystemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) can lead to antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and catastrophic APS (CAPS), causing severe thrombotic events. This case of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) with stroke and Libman-Sacks endocarditis highlights the need for APS evaluation and shows that prompt anticoagulation and immunosuppressive therapy are crucial in such cases.
