Abstract
Open AccessAcquired hemophilia A should be considered in unexplained bleeding with isolated activated partial thromboplastin time prolongation, even if mild. This case demonstrates an atypical presentation-compartment syndrome post-phlebotomy-with refractory bleeding due to factor VIII inhibitors. High clinical suspicion is essential for early diagnosis and management.
