Abstract
Open AccessSheehan's syndrome (SS) is a rare complication of postpartum hemorrhage. Here, we present a case of a 37-year-old female with Sheehan's syndrome who remained undiagnosed for 16 years and ultimately presented with an adrenal crisis that was precipitated by viral myocarditis. Clinicians should consider SS in patients with postpartum hemorrhage, regardless of the delivery setting, to prevent complications arising from delayed diagnosis, particularly in developing countries with limited access to obstetric care.
